Stephanie is a graduate of Iona College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and a concentration/minor in Physical Therapy. She then received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) in 2004. Health and wellness, sports and fitness, as well as fundraising for different charities and educating the community are all a part of her passion. Stephanie has a strong background working with Broadway dancers and utilizing Pilates for Physical Therapy Rehabilitation, having worked side by side with Broadway Theater choreographers and Pilates’ masters. In 2006, after extensively practicing Pilates for 3 years, Stephanie became a Certified Pilates Instructor through the Power Pilates organization, NYC. In 2009, while carrying on her journey to learn and explore further skills to continue to provide quality care to her patients and clients, Stephanie became a Certified Yoga Instructor through the YogaFit organization. Stephanie has created her own successful MIND BODY /Health and Fitness Program at the One On One offices in Staten Island consisting of Chair Yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi, Yoga, Yogalates, and Zumba classes for adults, seniors, physical therapy patients, and athletes. Continuing on her journey to enhance her knowledge in order to better treat her patients and clients, Stephanie also became a licensed Zumba instructor through the Zumba fitness organization in 2010. Her most recent accomplishment in the health, fitness, and wellness field was becoming a Certified Tai Chi Instructor through the Arthritis Foundation, using Dr. Paul Lam’s Tai Chi for Arthritis program.

Fundraising and giving back to the community are a passion Stephanie has been better able to continue to provide too many, with the aid of One On One’s kindness and generosity. Together they extend themselves to many organizations, groups, families, and individuals to reach out to those in need. Whether its’ raising donations, walking for a cure or providing classes to educate the community, Stephanie is a leader amongst her peers in gathering all those who would like to help various causes.

Currently, Stephanie finds much success treating patients with a functional approach, utilizing her extensive orthopedic manual therapy skills, incorporating the principles of Pilates and Yoga to help individuals return to their prior level of function, as well as directing the MIND BODY program and teaching the Pilates/Yoga/Yogalates classes given in the Staten Island offices. Through this unique program, she prides herself on reaching out to those looking to enlighten their current experiences and develop new interests for those who are ready to start enriching their wellbeing. Physical Therapy continuing education is always a part of her training to provide exemplary service to all of her patients and clients. Stephanie is currently pursuing her specialized certification in Pilates Apparatus training, as well as certification as a Performance Enhancement Specialist and Strength and Conditioning Specialist. She also continues to explore her interest in Pre/Post Natal exercise and its’ certification.
