Sean Anthony Thomas

Sean Anthony Thomas graduated from Brown University in 2003 with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. While at Brown, Thomas was a captain of the Division I Track and Field Team and was crowned Ivy League Indoor and Outdoor Champion in the Triple Jump. Thomas graduated from SUNY Downstate Medical Center with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2011 where he earned the Alumnae Award for Leadership, the Community Service Award, and the Best Research Award for his thesis entitled “Facilitating a Positive Change in Physical Activity Level with African American Adolescent Girls using the Trans-Theoretical Model.” Dr. Thomas has been working at One on One since 2012 and was promoted to Associate Director in 2016. Dr. Thomas is a Graston Provider and has his certification in Basic Rock Tape. Dr. Thomas has competed over a dozen Spartan Races, is a marathoner, a professional dancer, and the President of Be More Today, a fitness education company that raises funds for non-profit organizations to help rebuild communities across the world. Dr. Thomas offers free weekly workouts in the Park Slope Community with a church group called Spartan Sundays.
