Staten Island touch tackle: One-on-One takes tourney

Steve Mirasola tossed a 21-yard touchdown pass to John DeSantis on the final play of the game to lift One-On-One Sports Rehab to a 12-6 win over SI Judo yesterday in the championship game of the Staten Island Touch Tackle League John DeSio Memorial Tournament.

SI Judo jumped out to a 6-0 first-quarter lead on Randy Litrell's 73-yard TD pass to Vin DiBartolo.

One-On-One answered in the second quarter, Mirasola finding DeSantis in the back of the end zone with a 20-yard TD pass.

It stayed that way until the fourth quarter, when One-On-One's Tate Hunt intercepted a Litrell pass to give Mirasola another chance with 1:30 left on the clock.

Mirasola finished with 286 yards passing and DeSantis with nine catches for 101 yards receiving.
